Windsurfing: Golf Course Car park, Ynyslas Wind Direction: WSW Wind Stength: 20-25 knots Surf / Sea State: 3 foot rough surf Air Temperature: 16C Sea Temperature: 15ÂșC Weather: Sunny Max Speed: Distance Covered:
Yet again it was blowin' a hoolie and sunny all day. I was feeling pretty
surfed out after so many days on the water, so I left it until about 2pm
before going out with my 5m and little sail again.
I was straight onto the plane, popped up over the first two bits of
whitewater, then hit the first real wave and threw myself into a
forward....Landed it beautifully and sailed on out towards the Dovey
Bar...Woohooo!
The whitewater seemed to go on forever, so there wasn't really any flat
blasting water anywhere, and even in between the waves the water was really
rough, but I was well powered up and had an excellent session. Lots of wave
riding and aerials, and quite a few more forward attempts. I got pretty
close on a few other occassions and landed in the water-start position, and
didn't have any big crashes... Fantastic!
Rob was on the beach kiting, so I had a little rest and chat, before going
back out. When will this wind end!!
